Maderos Cabernet Sauvignon
We conceived this wine from the vineyard. From vines over 25 years old in plot #3
of our Finca Los Cerros, where we carry out vineyard work seeking excellence in
pruning, budding, cluster thinning, and leaf stripping. Conceived and crafted in our
facilities that showcase the most modern aspects of the industry alongside the
greatest historical heritage of Uruguayan viticulture.
One of the varieties with the most history in the world of wine. Crafted in Italian
tulips that allow for micro-oxygenation throughout the fermentation process and
accelerate the maturation of this great wine.
Very intense red color with violet tints. On the nose, aromas of red fruits, pepper,
sweet bell pepper, cassis, and the subtlety of oak. In the mouth, it presents
significant textures, firm and ripe tannins, sensations of spices, made complex with
the right presence of oak, filling the mouth with pleasant sensations. A special wine
with great aging potential.
Winemaking:
Selection of clusters, pressing, cooling, vatting, and fermentation in tulips at
controlled temperatures and with native yeasts from our vineyards.
Once the alcoholic fermentation is finished and prior to the malolactic, the wines
rest for 12 months in new French oak barrels, where we control the natural
malolactic fermentation.
After this time, the blend is made, it is very gently filtered, bottled, and aged in
stacks for 12 more months.
Food Pairing Suggestions:
All types of meats—roasted, oven-baked, or stewed. It is also ideal to accompany
fatty and sharp cheeses.
A wine to share great moments.
