Pentavarietal
The best plots of our Los Cerros de San Juan vineyard, the oldest plants, the most
precise cultural care seeking excellence. Conceived and crafted in our wonderful
facilities that showcase the most modern aspects of the industry alongside the
greatest historical heritage of Uruguayan viticulture.
Our historic “Pentavarietal” with the selection of the best barrels of Tannat,
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, and Tempranillo.
Very intense ruby red color. On the nose, aromas of dried fruits, spices, sweet bell
pepper, with the complexity contributed by the virgin oak. In the mouth, firm, ripe
tannins, sensations of spices, red fruits, cassis, and the complexity contributed by
the oak.
A unique wine!
Winemaking:
With selection of clusters, pressing, cooling, vatting, and fermentation in tulips at
controlled temperatures and with native yeasts from our vineyards in Los Cerros de
San Juan.
Once the AF (alcoholic fermentation) is finished, and prior to the malolactic
fermentation, they pass into new French oak barrels, where we control the natural
MF (malolactic fermentation) and remain there for 12 months.
After this time, the blend is made, bottled, and aged in stacks for 12 more months
before labeling for release to consumption.
Food Pairing Suggestions:
To share the best Uruguayan meats and celebrate great moments.
