Cuna de Piedra Tempranillo
Between the sandy and clay soils of our Finca Los Cerros, this early-ripening grape
with a great fruit profile is born.
With intense red colors, fruity aromas, moderate acidity, soft tannins, and pleasant
oak notes.
Winemaking:
Traditional, hand-harvested during the first days of March. Selection of clusters, destemming, fermentation at temperatures not exceeding 25°C with selected yeasts until reaching minimum residual sugar. Then, and in a natural way, we complete the malolactic fermentation. 30% of this wine is aged for 9 months in barrels, generating complexity and longevity. We proceed to create the blend with 70% of the wine crafted in concrete tulips and Cocciopesto amphorae. Stabilization, bottling, and 6 months of bottle aging.
Food Pairing Suggestions:
Grilled meat, roasted lamb, goat cheeses, Gruyère, stews, and winter casseroles.
