Maderos Blend de Blancs
From vines over 30 years old, we identify different plots seeking different profiles
and expressions.
This blend of the best white varieties at our Los Cerros estate, fermented in French
oak vessels, results in a wine that presents a yellow color with some golden hue.
On the nose, it presents citrus aromas, honey, and white fruits such as apricot; in
the mouth, a delicate texture upon first contact, the sensation perceived on the
nose is reflected here as well. It is fresh, delicate, but with a lot of personality; it is
undoubtedly a wine that reflects our terroir as it is, the place for wines of significant
aging potential.
Winemaking:
Careful selection of clusters for each of the varietals. Gentle pressing, the juices
are cleaned naturally (by cold) and continue with fermentation in new 500-liter
French oak barrels induced with selected yeasts under a controlled temperature.
This process can take up to 30 days.
Once the alcoholic fermentation is finished, the wines remain in the barrel for 9
months in our chamber with bâtonnagework to keep the lees in suspension.
After this time, the blend is made. Subsequently, it is stabilized, filtered, bottled,
and aged in stacks for 3 more months.
Food Pairing Suggestions:
Pairs with fish, shellfish, and also with that first meat you take off the grill.
The magic of this blend allows it to be drunk alone, reading a book, or sharing a
story with friends.
